About
I grew up in Upstate New York and after graduating from college moved to the Boston area where I have lived ever since. In 2009, I received my Masters in Social Work from Simmons College and have spent my subsequent years providing individual outpatient therapy in the community mental health setting while being a spouse and mother of three. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to work within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Currently, I practice over telehealth, only, for clients ages 18+, precisely because I am in the thick of parenting my own kids.
I have a variety of hobbies and interests such as playing racquet sports and board games, I just learned to play mahjong, I enjoy music, consuming tv shows and movies, gardening, DIY home projects, and a variety of arts and crafts. My family, friends, and community are incredibly important to me - those relationships are what sustain me to my core. Finally, if you're still reading and want to know what I look like, here is a mediocre picture of me because I don't particularly enjoy having my picture taken.
